Terms and Conditions

MotorDeal ("we", "us", "our") is an online marketplace operated at www.motordeal.gr that enables private individuals to list and find vehicles for sale, and enables parts dealers to advertise their inventory. MotorDeal is a technology platform only. We are not a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers, and we do not buy, sell, inspect, or guarantee any vehicle or part listed on the platform.

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MotorDeal website, mobile interface, and all associated services. By creating an account or using the platform in any capacity, you accept these Terms in full.

You must be at least 18 years of age to use MotorDeal. By registering, you confirm that you are 18 or older and that the information you provide is accurate and complete. MotorDeal reserves the right to terminate accounts of users who misrepresent their age or identity.

3.1 You must create an account to post listings, contact sellers, or access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

3.2 You must not share your account with any other person, create multiple accounts, or create an account on behalf of another person without their express authorisation.

3.3 You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, you must notify us immediately at legal@motordeal.gr.

3.4 MotorDeal reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate any account at any time and without notice if we reasonably believe a breach of these Terms has occurred.

4.1 You may only list vehicles that you legally own or have the legal authority to sell.

4.2 All listing information must be accurate and complete — including mileage, condition, accident history, previous ownership, and any defects known to the seller. Deliberately false or misleading listings are strictly prohibited and may result in permanent account suspension and referral to relevant authorities.

4.3 You must not list stolen vehicles, vehicles with outstanding finance, vehicles with cloned plates, or vehicles that are subject to any legal encumbrance.

4.4 Mileage fraud — knowingly listing inaccurate odometer readings — is a criminal offence under Greek law. MotorDeal will cooperate fully with any law enforcement investigation into mileage fraud.

4.5 Prices must be stated in Euro (€). Listings may not be used to conduct auction-style sales unless using the platform's designated Boost/Bump feature.

4.6 Only one listing per vehicle is permitted. Duplicate listings for the same vehicle will be removed.

4.7 MotorDeal does not verify listing accuracy. Buyers are solely responsible for conducting their own due diligence before purchasing any vehicle. MotorDeal strongly recommends independent inspection, KTEO verification, and title search before any purchase.

5.1 Parts listings are available to approved dealer accounts only. Dealers must hold a valid dealer subscription (Basic or Featured) to list parts.

5.2 All parts listings must accurately describe the part, its condition (new, used, or refurbished), its compatibility, and its price.

5.3 Parts dealers are solely responsible for the accuracy of compatibility information. MotorDeal accepts no liability for parts purchased based on incorrect compatibility claims made in dealer listings.

5.4 Dealers must not list counterfeit, unsafe, or illegally imported parts. MotorDeal reserves the right to remove any parts listing at its discretion and to terminate dealer accounts that violate this provision.

5.5 Dealer subscription fees are charged as set out in the pricing section of the platform. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.

5.6 MotorDeal offers a 7-day free trial for new dealer accounts. No charge is made if a subscription is cancelled before the trial period ends. After the trial period, the subscription fee is non-refundable for the current billing cycle.

5.7 MotorDeal reserves the right to modify dealer subscription pricing with 30 days' written notice to active subscribers.

You must not use MotorDeal to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content of any kind.
• Impersonate another person or entity.
• Harvest contact details or data from other users for any purpose outside the platform.
• Send unsolicited commercial communications (spam) to other users.
• Circumvent the platform to complete transactions off-platform after making initial contact through MotorDeal — first contact must remain on-platform.
• Use automated tools, bots, scrapers, or scripts to access or collect data from the platform without express written permission.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or replicate any part of the platform.
• Post content that is illegal, defamatory, threatening, obscene, or discriminatory.
• List vehicles or parts that are illegal to sell or possess in Greece.
• Engage in or facilitate money laundering or any other financial crime.
• Interfere with the platform's security, performance, or availability.

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate account suspension, permanent ban, and referral to law enforcement authorities.

7.1 MotorDeal is a platform that facilitates connections between buyers and sellers. We are not a party to, and accept no responsibility for, any transaction that occurs between users.

7.2 All negotiations, agreements, payment arrangements, and transfer of ownership are solely between the buyer and seller. MotorDeal has no involvement in and no liability for:

• The condition, quality, safety, or legality of any vehicle or part listed.
• The accuracy of any listing description.
• The ability of a seller to transfer legal ownership.
• Any payment dispute between buyer and seller.
• Any loss or damage arising from a transaction.
• Fraud committed by one user against another.

7.3 MotorDeal strongly advises all users to meet in safe, public locations, to verify vehicle documents in person, to use traceable payment methods, and to complete a legal transfer of ownership through the appropriate Greek authorities (KTEO, tax office) before any money changes hands.

7.4 MotorDeal is not a licensed financial institution, insurance provider, or escrow service. We do not hold funds on behalf of any user.

8.1 MotorDeal operates a credits system that allows sellers to boost their listings to the top of search results through a bidding mechanism.

8.2 Credits can be purchased through the platform or earned through the referral programme. Credits have no cash value and cannot be refunded, transferred, or exchanged for money.

8.3 Credits are deducted only when a boost bid is active. If a higher bid supersedes yours during the boost period, your credits are refunded to your account balance.

8.4 MotorDeal reserves the right to modify the credits system, pricing, and boost mechanics at any time with reasonable notice to users.

8.5 Credits expire 24 months after the date of purchase if unused.

8.6 Credits obtained through the referral programme expire 12 months from the date they are credited to your account.

9.1 Users may invite others to join MotorDeal using a unique referral code. Referral credits are awarded when the referred user successfully creates an account.

9.2 Referral credits cannot be earned through self-referral, the use of automated tools, or any fraudulent means. MotorDeal reserves the right to reverse referral credits and suspend accounts engaged in referral abuse.

9.3 MotorDeal may modify or discontinue the referral programme at any time.

10.1 All content on the MotorDeal platform — including the brand, logo, design, software, and written content created by MotorDeal — is the intellectual property of MotorDeal and protected by Greek and EU intellectual property law.

10.2 By posting a listing or any content on the platform, you grant MotorDeal a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and promote that content on the platform and in our marketing materials for as long as the content remains on the platform.

10.3 You retain ownership of all content you post. You confirm that you own or have the right to use any content you post, including photographs, and that it does not infringe any third party's rights.

10.4 You must not reproduce, copy, sell, or exploit any part of the MotorDeal platform or its content without express written permission from MotorDeal.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MotorDeal provides the platform "as is" and "as available" without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses.

To the maximum extent permitted by Greek and EU law:

12.1 MotorDeal's total liability to any user for any claim arising out of or related to the use of the platform shall not exceed the total amount paid by that user to MotorDeal in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12.2 MotorDeal shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, personal injury, or property damage arising out of or related to any transaction between users or the use of the platform.

12.3 MotorDeal accepts no liability for the actions, content, or representations of any user of the platform.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MotorDeal and its directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of the platform; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law; (d) any content you post on the platform; or (e) any transaction you enter into through the platform.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece and the European Union. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of MotorDeal that cannot be resolved through negotiation shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Athens, Greece.

For consumer disputes, EU residents may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

MotorDeal reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or by prominent notice on the platform. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the platform.
